The Springfield Police Division, Springfield Fire Rescue Division and the Ohio State Highway Patrol are conducting safety training exercises at the former Executive Inn.

The agencies are training Tuesday and Wednesday at the location, 325 W. Columbia St., city Communications Director Karen Graves said.

The fire department may be used for additional training “in the coming weeks,” Graves said.

The site is set to be demolished and may become a Culver’s location.
